Our world is crying out for men to be MEN.
There is a great deal of criticism aimed at men these days and precious little praise and appreciation.
A good man is hard to find, that is true…I know a few!
As brothers, fathers, husbands and MEN OF GOD these men have my heart and my loyalty…bear with me as I indulge in a tribute to some of my masculine hero’s! (Danny and Deanne Seay)
(Gary Black being my number 1 of course…see blog “Knight in Armor”)
William Orley… (my daddy) for teaching me the way a woman deserves to be treated, for working so hard for all your girls… without so much as a sigh, for loving me, believing in me, for holding me up (physically and emotionally) when my world came crashing down, for honoring my mother, for honoring all women who take care of their families, for passing on to me your love of music, motorcycles, and vintage cars!
Dwayne Black…for being a true cowboy, for having no fear, for dreaming while the world is dieing, for BEING integrity, for being a teddy bear around the women in your life (we won’t tell),
for being an incredible dad and a grandpa to the masses (and growing)
Danny Seay
…for proving faithful and true through many years and many storms, never wavering, always believing the best, holding on with nothing to gain for yourself, for showing us unconditional love…
Tim Johns
…hard to believe such a big guy could be so broken, your life is an inspiration, you are Jesus in a jean jacket to everyone who meets you, your humility is rare, and beautiful, I love your heart!
Andrew Sherman
…for being a strong, Godly, anointed and powerful man of God, while melting in the presence of your bride of four decades, you are The General…we will follow were you lead…
Justin Burns…for being my son, my friend, you are the word “faithful”, you have brought so much joy into my life…I love you so much more than you will ever know… part 2, cont…
