We have been debriefing 80 amazing world racers for the past week… this is Mallorie. The teams just arrived in Thialand from Africa and have already felt the burden of the Lord for the helpless of Asia. Please stand with her and each of them as God continues to birth His heart in and through them. Thank you! (So you know, we are also helping Mallorie not to take to much on here and make sure she hears clearly from the Father on how and what to pray) the warfare of this is very serious and we must all walk in the Fear of Lord!

Dear friends,

I am excited to report that we arrived in Bangkok yesterday (August 2).  For now, we are staying at the YWAM base about twenty minutes out of town.  Soon, we will be moving into the city.

This email is specifically a plea for prayer.  The night before we flew into Bangkok, I watched a movie about human trafficking (also known as the global sex trade, the third largest market in the world after drugs and weapons).  The Spirit of God fell on me and I sobbed for several hours.  These girls, as young as
five, are abucted, deceived, and/or disillusioned into selling their bodies (they never see any money from it) to as many as twelve men a day.  Men fly into Bangkok from all over the world (including USA) just to sleep with the girls (and sometimes boys).  The statistics are as follows: 300,000 – 2.8 million more thai women are added to the sex trade “industry” each year. 150,000 thai children each year lose one or both parents to HIV.  3 million thais become addicted to hard drugs each year, 60% of whom are under the age of 19.  In short, the ruler of this world (the devil) is running around this city like he owns it (which he does not – “The earth is the Lord’s and everything in it, the world and all who live in it” Psalm 24:1, plus JESUS took the keys back – and gave them to us. Matthew 16:18-19).

I believe that we have been sent here because we can actually
change something.
I believe that prayer changes things.  When we pray, we effect change in the spiritual, which effects change in the natural.  When sobbing a few nights ago, the thought that kept running through my head was “darkness is defeated.”  I will proclaim this truth every day here, through prayer, through fasting, through proclaiming the Word out loud, through conversations… in whatever way I am led by the Spirit of God.
PLEASE join with me in bringing the Light to this dark city, in whatever way you are led by the Spirit of God.

Also,
please cover me in prayer, as I am declaring war against the powers of darkness here.  I feel as though I am at a very deep spiritual place, and I believe I will be in some heavy warfare the next few weeks.

We are working with a ministry that reaches out to the girls involved in the sex trade and prostitution, the bar owners, and the men who come to sleep with the girls (please pray for me, that Christ, who lives in me, will be visible).  Not only is my spirit broken, and I likely face attacks from the enemy, but this is also a dangerous place.  Foreign women have been known to be attacked and/or abducted from these areas of ministry.
Please pray for my safety and the safety of all of the world race teams.  Through your prayers, you can establish walls of protection.

Thank you for joining with me, and I welcome any emails (questions, comments, prayers, encouragements).  I believe I will have internet access at least once a week.

“For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.” Colossians 1:13-14
Halleluiah!

As always, I’m yours for the Journey,

Mallorie
Daughter of the King
