I spent time in the word today before I even got my coffee….I had to.

The continued exposure of the perversion in our churches has my blood boiling…I am in fight mode, trying desperately to calm my raging insides…

What has me so fired up?
It is not shock that people are not what they say they are, I have grown to expect that..
It is not that a professing Christian has fallen in to sin; you can find that all through history, nothing new.
It is not that the liberal press is having a field day with the mess our churches have gotten into.
No, that is not my issue…I know God will turn this all for His Glory.
I know God is in control regardless of the circumstances.
I know how this stories ends, the Church is victorious, healed and reigning with the Creator for Eternity…

Nothing gets me more riled up than when the INNOCENT are mistreated, abused or taken advantage of for the sin or pleasure of someone older, stronger or in a position to protect them.
The perverted sin that has inundated our “Churches” does filter down to our children…there is NO way they are not affected.
I believe the Bible is VERY clear on this issue, the Father does not take it lightly.

I pray that the “Church” will wake up in righteous anger and fight for ALL that cannot defend themselves!

Isaiah 10:1:4

“Woe to those who make unjust laws, to those who issue oppressive decrees, to deprive the poor of their rights and withhold justice from the oppressed of my people,
making widows their prey and robbing the fatherless, what will you do on the day of reckoning, when disaster comes from afar? To whom will you run for help?

Where will you leave your riches? Nothing will remain but to cringe among the captives or fall among the slain.
Yet for all this His anger is not turned away, his had is still upraised.”

Regardless of how watered down our society may be about crimes against children, there will come a day when no committee, lawyer, or judge will have any influence… And Woe to those who think their sin was hidden, woe to any one that does not fear God.
The cost of sin is great, the consequences of our choices is immeasurable.
To be in any kind of leadership is a high calling.
I hope we all use our righteous anger to fight in the spirit for the protection of our children, for all children.
There is NO excuse; there is no grace for willingly damage those we are COMMANDED to protect!

I guess my prayer is the same today as it is everyday, “Lord search my OWN heart, and protect my children, keep them safe at school, with their friends, and yes at church, and Lord teach me how to fight the good fight, as we fight not against flesh and blood but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms!”

Amen

The tribe when they were “little ones”, my prayers for them have not changed!

One response to “when is our anger righteous?”

  1. I couldn’t agree more! God is the righteous judge and people had better take their positions of leadership, influence, and positions of power seriously. Thanks for speaking on what is in my heart.
