This past week I was with five of my six children at a care-point, as usual within minutes our arms were full of children.
These children were especially excited to see us, and pulling and tugging to get us to hold them all.
I got out my digital camera so I could show them their own images, they LOVE this.

Most people are drawn to the happy, outgoing kids.
They are all precious, but I find I am always drawn to the most quiet ones.
It is these children that probably have the loudest story to tell.
I noticed a little boy walking around; he was most likely four or five years old.
He had on girl overalls that were missing buttons.
  He was very distraught.
He could not play soccer or dance with us, he was consumed with keepingg his pants up, and it was all he could do.
This little boy became my focus, I could not move forward until I saw him smile… I searched my purse, the van, the glove compartment, and everywhere I could for a safety pin…just ONE pin.
String, rope, thread, anything, I was prepared to put my sewing knowledge to a creative test.
  NOTHING.
He continued to look completely discouraged over his little pants, and I could not stop or leave him with out a solution.
I considered racing back to town to buy him new pants, but that would take over and hour or two, and he may be gone when I returned.
I looked down to the dirt, and muttered a simple prayer, holding my little friend “Lord, help me fix his pants, please God,’ and then I saw it, there in the dirt A TINY Straight PIN.
I have no idea why it was there, but I am sure it was not there before I prayed, and I don’t care if you believe me!   I fixed his pants, but he didn’t believe it and kept holding them, and still no smile.
Much later, Noah ran by with the other children, he took off running to catch them.
He forgot about his pants, let go of them, and realized they did not fall, and then, he

smiled.  Could it be the God of the universe cares about a little boy in Africa whose pants were falling down, I believe He does!
